He was drowned when HMT Leasowe Castle was torpedoed off Alexandria. A Geologist. Son of Louis Auguste Barbé and Alice Rosa Barbé (née Allen), both Guernsey born, of May View, Dunbar, East Lothian. Born at Paisley, Renfrewshire.

Drowned aged 33 years
