1914 Star & Clasp

"Received his first Commission in 1900. He was gazetted Lieutenant in 1904, and Captain in 1909. He saw service in Tibet, 1904-4, when he was wounded. He was in action at Niani, and received a medal with clasp.

(Official). - Wounded at Mons, August 23rd. Died of wounds at Convent of St. Joseph, Maisieres, Belgium, August 28th. Aged 32 years, 11 months."
