Born in 1880 at Guernsey. Son of Emma & Henry Brache of Vale, Guernsey. Husband of Matilida Selina Aslett. A Royal Naval regular who enlisted in 1901.

Honourably discharged in 1916 from Egyptian government hospital at Suez, due to anaemia contracted since serving in the Dardanelles.

Died from myelogenous leukemia aged 38 years
