Son of Alfred J & Mary Ann Brake of L'Islet, St Sampson's. Husband of Mrs Helene Mary Brake of Sandy Lane, L'Islet, (later 19 Dorey's Cottages), St Sampson. Born and enlisted at Guernsey.

Killed in action, aged 24 years.
