Carved on the Cambrai East Memorial at Louverval along with a group of R.G.L.I. soldiers with no known grave.

Son of the late James Davis and Jane Tapster. Husband of Amy R. Duquemin Martel (formerly Davis), of Victoria Cottage, L'Islet, St. Sampson's, Guernsey. Born and enlisted at Guernsey.

Killed in action, aged 37 years.
