Son of Hannah Guerin, of Le Friquet, St. Martin's, Guemsey, Channel Islands, and the late Frederick Guerin. 3 years in RGLI before enlisting in Canada in July 1915. Old Elizabethan.

Killed, aged 34 years, during the assault on Hill 70, a high point near Lens, during which CSM Robert Hill Hanna of his battalion won the Victoria Cross.
