Born at Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Elizabeth College, Guernsey, 1891-96. Wounded in France and died at Wairua, NZ. Son of Mrs. M. Hodgson-Stevens, of 22, Arkwright Mansions, Finchley Rd., London, England. Widower. Served on the Western Front, 1917-18. He died at Wairoa Hospital 21-9-19 of Tubercle Lung. No longer fit for war service on account of illness contracted on active service Service from 09/01/1916 to 07/01/1919 = 2 yrs 364 days. Foreign service 01/05/1916 to 20/09/1918 = 2 yrs 143 days.
