Son of John & Ellen Parkyn of L'Ancresse, Guernsey. Husband of Annie Moore of Crediton, Devon. Brother of Reginald, Albert, William & Nellie.Enlisted in 1910.

Discharged as unfit, on the same day as his death, because of fractures caused by gunshot wounds to his back. He was wounded at Ploegsteert on 9/11/1917

Died of wounds, aged 26 years
