Son of the late Col. J. Picton Turbervill (formerly Picton-Warlow, late Madras Staff Corps) and Caroline F. Turbervill (stepmother), of Glanwenny, Bridgend, Glam. Husband of Eleanor Picton-Warlow (nee Temple). Served in the South African War. Brother of Corporal Arthur Picton-Warlow.

Lost in English Channel whilst flying home on leave. Aged 30 years.
