Philip Tachon

Youngest son of Jean L & Pauleen Tachon, of Gorey, Jersey. Husband of Amelia J. Tachon, of 5, William St , Blyth, Northumberland. One of three brothers who served, two of whom fell in October 1918.

Roll of Honour. Another gallant Jersey sailor. Philip Tachon of the Royal Navy, has been called to make the supreme sacrifice. This son of the sea was serving on a vessel which was in a collision on 15 October and unfortunately he was drowned. He was in his 23rd year and leaves a widow and one child to mourn his loss, to whom, with his mother, who resides at Gorey, we tender our sincere condolences.
