Born in 1886 at Sark. Son of John Hotton and Elizabeth Mary Anne Baker. Married to Theena Baker.

Died in 1974 aged 88 as a result of gangrene related to trench foot suffered in WW1.

Lived at Greenfield, Rue Lucas, Sark. Remained in France with Details Battalion at end of the war.

Member of Methodist Chapel Sunday School. Member of Sark British Legion.
