Son of Phillip and Hannah Aubin. Husband of Mary Aubin, of West Avenue, Harton, South Shields.

Lost, aged 53 years

S.S. Grenadier was 1,004tons, built in 1895 and travelled between Newcastle and Rotterdam/Hamburg. Torpedoed and sunk in the North Sea 23 February 1917

Commemorated on St Martin's Parish Memorial, Jersey, on memorial window in Gouray Church, Jersey and on Jersey Mercantile Marine Memorial at Jersey Maritime Museum
