Roll
of Honour. We regret to chronicle the death of Private George Henry Bewhay of
the 9th Devonshire Regiment, son of Mr & Mrs Bewhay of Lewis Street. The soldier,
who was in his 35th year, made the supreme sacrifice on 1st July last. We offer
the bereaved family our sincere condolences.
