NEWS ITEM in Jersey Evening Post of Monday 6 May 1918

Roll of Honour. The very many friends and acquaintances of Private R H Brown of the Hampshire Regiment will regret to hear that he has died of wounds received in action on 22 April. Bob Brown, as he was generally known, resided with his sister at the Robin Hood Grocery Stores and was a brother of Mr Malcolm Brown and had been in the employ of Orviss Ltd for some 20 years and was very highly respected amongst all he had come into contact with. He had been at the Front for some 9 months and was 42. To the sister and brother and other members of the family we would offer our sincere sympathy.
