Roll of Honour. We regret to announce
the death which took place during the fighting of 30
July of Private F Burge of the 1st Battalion Royal Lancashire
Regiment. The gallant soldier, who was 29, married a
Jersey lady (Miss Maud Hearn) whom he leaves with one
child to mourn his loss. We offer the widow and other
relatives our sincere sympathy in their bereavement.
