Jerseyman Wounded and Missing. Mr &
Mrs Chaffe of 7 New St James Place have received an
official intimation that their second son, Acting Corporal
Percy Chaffe of 2nd Hampshires, is reported wounded
and missing following an engagement on 12 October last.
Corporal Chaffe has been at the Front since the beginning
of the war and was twice wounded at Gallipoli. We trust
the family will soon receive news that will allay their
anxiety.
