Roll of Honour. We regret to state that Mr & Mrs Clayden of Mount Pleasant, First Tower yesterday received official intimation from the War Office that their son, Lance Corporal A E Clayden, of 1st Seaforth Highlanders had laid down his life on the field of honour. The gallant lad who was only 20 had been 3 years in the Army and was a most promising soldier. To his relatives and friends we beg to tender our sincere condolences.
