Killed in action, aged 33 years.

Roll of Honour. One of life's sad tragedies has taken place in the death of W J Daunt of the Royal Irish Regiment, who was killed in action on 30 September, for it was only 14 days ago that he left Jersey to return to the Western Front where he was immediately killed. The late soldier was 33 and leaves a widow and child who reside in Old St Johns Road, to whom we tender our sincere condolences
