Roll of Honour. We regret to announce
the death which has taken place in France of Rifleman
T Davis of 18th Battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps. The
deceased soldier was the second son of Mr W Davis of
Durban House, Havre des Pas, and previous to the outbreak
of war resided in London. Though 40, the deceased who
was unmarried, joined up under the Derby Scheme last
May and proceeded to France about 3 months ago. Unfortunately
he was taken ill and though everything possible was
done he succumbed on 7 February from meningitis. We
tender the relatives our sincere sympathy.
