of Le Colombia Manor, Jersey. Served in H.M.S. "Queen" on staff of Admiral
Mark Kerr.
Reported drowned, aged 20 years
He was born on February, 28, 1897 and was the oldest
of 3 boys and 2 girls
Lost on HMS Narborough together with their sister destroyer
HMS Opal in a storm on the Pentland Skerries. There
was only 1 survivor out of a compliment of 160 on both
ships.
Admiral Mark EF Kerr CB,CVO wrote to his parents "Had
he survived he would have become the youngest British
