Roll of Honour. The local friends and acquaintances of Mrs Dudley (nee Miss R Luce) of La Villaise, St Ouen will regret to learn that her husband, Gunner Leonard Dudley of the Royal Garrison Artillery, died at the King George Hospital on 13 September of wounds received in action. The deceased soldier was in his 32nd year and while stationed in the Island married the local lady mentioned above, to whom we tender our heartfelt condolences.

Son of John & Eliza Dudley, Slade's Green, Kent. Husband of Rosalie (nee Luce) of La Villaise, St Ouen, Jersey, married at St James Church, Jersey.

Enlisted in 1908 and served in Hong Kong, Pekin (Beijing), and France. Wounded in France - GSW to chest

Died at King George Hospital of wounds received in action, aged 31 years.
