Roll of Honour. It is with deep regret we chronicle the death which took place in action on 28 April last of Lance Corporal Thomas Francis Evans of the Royal Marine Battalion. This gallant Jerseyman, who was in his 25th year, was the eldest son of Mrs M A Evans of Brookhill Cottage, near Princes Tower, and enlisted in the Royal Marines soon after the outbreak of war. He proceeded to the Front last year with the Royal Naval Division and the sad news of his death will be read with regret by scores of friends. To the relatives we would tender our sincere sympathy.
