The eldest son of John and Susan C Falle of Victoria Farm, Coin Varin, St Peter.

Killed in action, aged 25 years.

He was killed on the first day he entered the trenches, having only been in France for a short time.

Roll of Honour. It is with deep regret we state that official news has been received here that Private John Cantell Falle of the Hampshire Regiment was killed in action on 4 October, the first day that he entered the trenches. The deceased soldier was the eldest son of Mr & Mrs J Falle of Victoria Farm, St Peters and was in his 25th year and had only been in France a very short time. To the family, who have another son serving, we tender our sincere sympathy.
