Killed in action, aged 29 years.

Sergeant Farmer Killed in Action. We regret to announce that Sergeant Arthur Farmer of the 1st East Surrey Regiment was killed in action on 9 September last. The deceased was very well known and had many friends in this Island. He married a Jersey lady who is now residing at 1 Brooklyn Place, Ann Street, with her two young children. The sympathy of our readers we feel sure will be extended to the widow in her bereavement.
