Another Jersey Sailor Killed. As we go to press we regret to learn that Leading Seaman Alfred Grandin must be regarded as having lost his life on 16 November, the vessel he was serving in having been sunk. We tender the relatives our heartfelt sympathy.

Roll of Honour. As we briefly stated yesterday Leading Seaman Alfred Grandin, who was serving as a member of the guns crew on a transport is regarded by the Admiralty as having lost his life on 16 November, the vessel he was serving on having been sunk. The official message states there was a tremendous explosion and the vessel is reported to have gone down in 30 seconds. Seaman Grandin was, unfortunately, not amongst the survivors landed of whom, according t the reports received, there were only two. The late sailor was the second son of Mrs Le Breton of 8 Journeaux Street and was 33. We tender the mother and other relatives our sincere sympathy.
