Roll of Honour - Another Jerseyman killed
in Action. Mr & Mrs Hamon of Causie Lane, St Clement
have received from the War Office an official intimation
of the death of their fifth son Driver W F Hamon of
the Royal Engineers, which occurred in action on 27
April last. The deceased, who was 25, had done 2 years
service with the Royal Engineers and gone on the reserve
list before the war. He was called up on the outbreak
of hostilities and had seen much service since.
