Youngest son of George Rees Harris and Anna Harris, of "Oakhurst," Grouville, Jersey.

Killed in action at Cerisy, aged 25 years.

Roll of Honour. It is with sincere regret that we announce the death at the Front on the 15 September of Lieutenant W E Harris of the 2nd West Riding Royal Field Artillery, barrister at law and youngest son of Captain G R Harris of Oakhurst, Grouville. The deceased officer was called to the Bar on 26 January 1915 and joined the Army on 5 February following. He went to the Front in January of this year and came home on leave in July. Some time ago he had been appointed to the command of a trench mortar battery.
