Roll of Honour. We regret to have to record
the death of Private Robert (Bob) Jones, eldest son
of Mrs Jones of Mont les Vaux, St Aubin, who was killed
in action on 16 September. The deceased, who was 21,
joined the army soon after the declaration of war and
was highly esteemed by all who knew him. We offer our
sincere sympathy to the mother in her sad bereavement.
