Killed in action, aged 17 years.

Roll of Honour. As so often in the case
with Naval losses amongst the killed on the ill-fated
HMS Champagne was a Jersey lad, First Class Boy Wilfred
Redvers Journeaux. This gallant young lad, who was only
17, had already been on a cruiser which was torpedoed
but he has now been called upon to make the supreme
sacrifice. He was the son of Rifleman W Journeaux of
the Royal Irish Rifles and Mrs Journeaux and the grandson
of Mr J MacDonald of Cheapside. The relatives have our
sincere sympathy in their sorrow.
