Born at St Helier, Jersey. Son of Philip J & Ellen Keeping of the Olde England Hotel, Cheapside, St Helier, Jersey. Husband of M V Keeping of Essex.

Died, aged 32 years, in a German Hospital in East Africa, of wounds.

Roll of Honour. Leading Seaman A J Keeping, son of Mr P J Keeping of the Olde England Hotel, Cheapside has died of wounds in a German hospital in East Africa. This gallant seaman, who was in his 32nd year had seen a good deal of active service and was present when the German warship Konigsburg was destroyed. To his wife and the other members of the family we offer our sincere condolences.
