Evening Post of Monday 11 June 1917
Roll of Honour. Leading Seaman A J Keeping,
son of Mr P J Keeping of the Olde England Hotel, Cheapside
has died of wounds in a German hospital in East Africa.
This gallant seaman, who was in his 32nd year had seen
a good deal of active service and was present when the
German warship Konigsburg was destroyed. To his wife
and the other members of the family we offer our sincere
condolences.
