NEWS ITEM in Jersey Evening Post of Monday 7 June 1915

Roll of Honour. We regret to have to announce that another Jerseyman has gone under in the fight against the Huns. This is Corporal Arthur Henry Le Cappelain of the 2nd Battalion the Gordons, third son of Mr William James Le Cappelain of Wesley House, St Aubin. The deceased, who was unmarried, has seen most of his service in India and went through the South African War. When the present war broke out he considered it his duty to rejoin the forces, he being at the time in Government employ at Flint. Our sincere sympathies go out to the bereaved parents and members of the family.
