Missing. Mrs J P Le Lievre of Val de la Mare, St Peters has received official information that her husband, Able Seaman J A Le Lievre of the Royal Naval Division, has been reported missing since 27 March. We hope that the wife, who has three children, will shortly receive favourable news.

NEWS ITEM in Jersey Evening Post of Saturday 14 September 1918

Roll of Honour. Some time ago Mrs Le Lievre of Val de la Mare, St Peters received news that her husband, Able Seaman J A Le Lievre of the Hawke Battalion, Royal Naval Division, had been missing since 27 March and we now regret to record the fact that she has received official intimation that her husband died at a Field Hospital at Beaulencourt as the result of a gun shot wound in the head on 2 April, whilst a prisoner in German hands. The deceased, who was in his 25th year, leaves a widow and three children to whom we offer our sincere sympathy.
