The youngest son of Alexander M and Alice P Le Monnier, of 76a St Saviour's Road, St Helier.

He was reported missing at Ridge Wood, Kemmel Hill on the 26th of April 1918, and was subsequently presumed to have died on that date.

Killed in action, aged 26 years

NEWS ITEM in Jersey Evening Post of Monday 11 September 1916

Jersey Soldier Wounded. News has been received in the Island that Rifleman E Le Monnier of the 41st Infantry Brigade Machine Gun Corps has been severely wounded in the right leg, left arm and face by shrapnel. He is now at the Royal Hospital, Great Portland Street, London. The soldier is the son of Mrs Le Monnier of Dumaresq Street.
