Roll of Honour. Another Jerseyman has Laid Down his Life on the Field of Honour. The lad, Rifleman Alfred Yves Lerat, only son of Mr & Mrs Yves Lerat of St Peter was only 22 and had been attached to the 3rd Battalion Rifle Brigade for the last 2 years. A letter was received from him stating that he was well on 17 October, but he was killed in action the next day. To his parents we beg to offer our sincere condolences in their bereavement.
