Son of Joshua John and Margaret Noel. Husband of Mrs. A. M. M. Noel, of High Moor House, Valley des Vaux, St. Helier, Jersey. Born at St. Helier.

Killed in action, aged 38 years.

NEWS ITEM in Jersey Evening Post of Wednesday 17 October 1917

Jersey Soldiers Wounded. Two soldiers serving in the Hampshire Regiment who hale from the Eastern District, Privates George Hine and W Noel, are suffering from wounds received in action. We trust that favourable news will shortly be received. Immediately the relatives receive the name of the hospital in England that these men have been sent to we will be pleased if the address is brought to our office so that the London Channel Island Comforts Fund can attend to them.
