Minster in Thanet Cemetery, Kent

Third son of the late Frederick Roberts of France. His sister lived at Rouge Bouillon.

Died at the Military Hospital, Sandwich, aged 41 years.

Roll of Honour. Another Jerseyman who has unfortunately succumbed after the close of hostilities is Sapper John Maurice Roberts of the Royal Engineers. The deceased, who was in his 41st year, had been lying ill in a Military Hospital in Sandwich, Kent for a considerable time and his sister, Mrs Hodges, had visited him. Though everything possible was done the Sapper passed away on 4 February. The relatives have our heartfelt sympathy
