Roll of Honour. The many friends of Sergeant George R Slee of the Devon Regiment, who was reported missing on 9 May 1917 will regret to hear that after over a year of anxiety Mrs Slee has received the distressing news that her husband was killed on the date mentioned, whilst in action on Vimy Ridge. The deceased Sergeant served here with his Battalion with whom he left for the Front. He was a well-known football player, very popular and highly respected.
