Roll of Honour. News was received yesterday
that Private W Smith of the Hampshire Regiment, son
of Mr & Mrs Smith of Mont a l'Abbe Manor Farm, has
been killed in action at Haspres on the Selle River
on 21 October. The deceased, who was in his 22nd year,
joined up 2 years ago and had been at the Front for
15 months. To the bereaved parents and other members
of the family we tender our respectful sympathy.
