3rd (or Town) Battalion, Royal Militia of the Island of Jersey

Died 17 Nov 1914 at General Hospital, St Helier aged 28. Occupation : Voiturier

Private Winter Tite collapsed and died after an illness brought on by exposure while serving on night time duty. He was in "D" Company of the 3rd (Southern) Battalion of the Royal Jersey Militia. (Town Battalion Reserves).
He was admitted to Jersey General Hospital on the 17 Nov 1914 and died the same date...cause of death brain haemorrhage.


Buried in Almorah Cemetery, plot 2911
He was born 14/11/1887 at St Helier, Jersey. The son of Thomas James Baxter Tite and Maria Clementine Pallot.
Husband of Henrietta Violet Goding whom he married in 1907.
