NEWS ITEM in Jersey Evening Post of Monday 16 September 1918

Roll of Honour. Mrs Bree of Trinity Road has received the sad news of the death in action on 3 September of her son, Sergeant O Touzel of the Hampshire Regiment. The deceased, who was only 23, was formerly employed by Messrs Le Riche Ltd at their Colomberie establishment, and was one of the youngest members of the original Jersey Contingent. The news was conveyed in a letter sent by Company Quarter Master Sergeant H W Bree, who was also in the Jersey Company. To the mother and other members of the family we offer our sincere sympathy in their sorrow.
