Killed in Action. News has been received by Mrs Joseph White of 4 Luces Arcade, New Street, that her husband, who was serving in the Kings Royal Rifles was killed in action on 8 October. This is the third brother who has passed away during the present month, two of them falling in action, while the third, a discharged soldier, died a few days ago from the results of influenza leaving a widow and infant child who have both since died.
