Close to Arras, Point-du-Jour is the final
resting place of ten named and many unamed men of the Royal Guernsey Light Infantry
who gave their lives on 1st December 1917.
Some were re-buried
here after the war, being brought in from the battlefields, or when smaller cemeteries
were closed.
