Fourth son of the late Francis & Mrs Anne Norman (nee Messervy) of La Davisonnerie, St Saviour, Jersey
Husband of Maud A Norman (nee de Gruchy) of 1 Ricardo Villa, Samares, Jersey. Educated at Victoria College

Joined Capital & Counties Bank and then 1st Scottish Horse with whom he served throughout the South African War
Wounded in June 1916 in the Ypres Salient, rejoining his Regiment in September 1916

Notice of Death appears in Jersey Evening Post of Tuesday 17 April 1917
